After School Program - August 7, 2008 - May 26, 2009

The YMCA currently runs after school childcare at the following city-school sites:

Alberta Elementary, Northington Elementary, Southview Elementary & University Place Elementary

School pick-up service is offered at the following city/county schools:

Arcadia, Central Crestmont, Davis-Emerson, Eastwood Middle, Echols Middle, Headstart, Holt Elementary, Lloyd Wood Middle, Martin Luther King, Matthews, Oakdale, Rock Quarry, Tuscaloosa Middle, Verner, Westlawn Middle and Woodland Forrest

One Day Camps 

To follow Tuscaloosa City and County Schools schedule

 All One Day Camps are from 7:00am - 6:00pm at the Central Branch YMCA.  The coast is $20.00 per child.  Campers should come prepared for swimming, and bring a lunch, two snacks and three drinks.  Camp is open to children 5 to 14.  CDRS participants will pay their regular weekly fee.

 Summer Day Camp 

May 28th - August 5th, 2009

Summer Day Camp is from 7:00am - 6:00pm at the Central Branch YMCA located at 2405 Bryant Drive.  The coast for YMCA Family members is $68.00 and $78.00 for program participants per week for the first child, with multiple child discounts applied.  Campers should come prepared for swimming, field trips, day trips to camp, movies, bowling, skating, day trips to Alabama Adventure and local attractions.  Campers will need to bring  two snacks and two drinks.  Unlike most camps in West Alabama lunch is provided daily

 Tuscaloosa Housing Authority Residents

The YMCA operates an after school and summer day camp program for residents of the following Tuscaloosa Housing Authority locations: Cresent East, Deleware Jackson, Hay Court & Rosedale.  For enrollment and program information contact Lakeda Smith at 345-9622.
